ii was reading on facebook that someone had mentioned maybe having a tourny. i was wondering if anyone was interested. and if so, possibly organise some sort of tourament.

Im sure we can get a whole bunch of people for a tourny. The only problem is, There's nothing to win... Nick needs more time to get on his feet before he can start sponsoring tourny's. The other problem is the teams, No offence and all buuuut they just wouldnt be fare. We tried it a couple years ago and same team kept winning over and over. Which leads to a different problem, Different catagories of players. Which means more prizes per catagory. It's just a hastle to get it organized and With 5 catagories with 5 different prizes... It gets pricy as hell. Depending on the prize some people might not even play which means we lose sign up money so the prizes get crappier.

Arg....

HEY! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY COMPANYS THAT WOULD DONATE PRIZES(Money..)/SPONSOR A TOURNAMENT!!!!????

I can't really consider doing big tournaments this year. Next year will be another story. it will give me the winter months to canvas local shops for sponsorship etc.

It's not that I don't intend to do the tourneys, it's that I want to make sure I approach it correctly and with the most positive force possible.

It will come, I promise you.

who needs prizes? what's wrong with bragging rights?

and a few years ago? what team won all the time?

also, you could take an entry fee and divide it up for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places

like a poker game 70% for 1st, 20% for 2nd, 10% for 3rd or something like taht
