Hey all, Its good too see YK still has a scene. I used to go and play(and mostly win Razz

) tournaments out that way. One of the boys that used to play with me out that way, Clint Jewell(2 L`s, dont forget it), put me on to this forum.
The reason Im posting here is because Im hosting a 3-man 1st timer rookie tournament. This means that you can never have played an organized tournament before to qualify. I already have 6 teams from here signed up and thought that you boys might want to throw your hats in the ring.
1st prize= Ion xe + N2 tank + electronic loader + 3 cases of paint.
Will be awarding prizes too 3rd, gauranteed.

Hmm sounds fun. Wonder how the tippy does in speedball. Is there a date set?

Hey Nick,
Good to hear back from you. The 4 w`s eh....
-Who-All 1st time tournament players-total rookie tournament-alot of boys using rentals(new tippman platinums on Nitro mind you)-Reffed by the 2008 Canadian Nationals Paintball Champs

-Where-Fort Smith N.W.T.-Tournament Feild is right on the highway into town,cant miss it 10` high netting and a brand new airball field on 1 side and an old barge we play on the other both netted in, and a big Crossfire paintball sign.

-When-Aboriginal day weekend-June/22/08- We will start the games about noon and carry on straight thru till completion, which should be around 4 or 5- then a bbq and players party!!

-What- what you need is $150 a 3-man team-we have 3 grades of paint for the event -stinger for 40/case-nightmare for 50/case- PMI premium for 60/case-We have 4500psi compressed air fills and co2 aqailable with nitro tanks for free for the tounament(borrow)We will have a 30`X12` tent set up so you can camp out- my house is always open to guests, I have 2 spare rooms with beds in them-those are your free options- or there is a camp here that serves a wicked breakfast for $60 a night per man,based on double occupancy

The only limits on markers are semi-auto(1 pull=1 shot),300 fps is the speed limit but set it too 280 to keep from getting your marker pulled for going over.

I realy hope your boys come on out. Always good to meet new players and friends.

My assistant captain said I should be more specific in the prizes.
1st= 3 Ion xe markers/3 n2 tanks/3 electronic loaders
2nd=3 jerseys/3 profiler helmets/3 sets of gloves
3rd=3 packs w/pods/t-shirts/ hats
Also have a ton of stickers/gun oils and small stuff like that

Being 1st timers almost every one is sporting a tippman or right along those lines, 2-3 teams from here will be using rental tippman platinums.
I think there might be 2 or three electronic spiders but thats it. A real rookie tournament reffed by real reffs (The 2008 Canadian National Paintball Champions)

Very cool.
K, so I've already cleared it with the wife. I wanna go down there for this. I'm planning on taking my camping stuff, bbq, cooler's etc....
Who wants to go?
I've got room for 4 more in my car, plus gear.
I'm looking for $50.00 each, plus chipping in for gas there and back, and for food. All in all will make a fantastic weekend, and a hell of a lot of fun....plus it's a fantastic way to network.
